it's blazin'

It's difficult to be outside when it's a bazillion degrees and your clothes feel as though they are melting into your back. It's is only marginally less difficult to be indoor with an exceedingly busy three year old who wants to paint the oven door or put puzzle pieces in the clothes drier.

So we try to make the most the precious few hours between when Munch bounds into our bed I'M IN THE MIDDLE! when the sun over head drives us back inside.

Some scenes from an otherwise very quiet weekend.

On our way to the park.

STEP ON A CRACK...

Thanks Munch. Glad to see you are looking out for me.

Looking forward to a quiet week to come.

  1. Welcome to parenthood. It gets better from here on in until they reach puberty. This only a warm up for puberty. Brace yourself.

    1. I should be more worried about puberty but I'm not, probably because I was a pretty nerdy kid who hung out in bookstores on weekend nights.
